When co-founder Xu Mingyuan circled the globe, he fell in love with Walking Tours \u2013 a hit among global travelers. Returning to Taiwan in late 2015, he noticed a void in local destination experiences. Inspired to introduce the solo-friendly, tip-based Free Walking Tour concept from abroad, he joined forces with co-founder Liu Peiyu and shareholders to launch TC TIME WALK in Taichung.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

2016-2019<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Through our Walking Tour service, we aim to empower independent travelers to immerse themselves in the authentic local experience of a city. Led by locals, these tours provide an opportunity to explore the city's cultural insights, culinary delights, heritage, development, and more.

We have hosted over 10,000 domestic and international visitors, including representatives from foreign embassies, diplomatic envoys, domestic and international dignitaries, spanning across more than 35 countries. Additionally, we have systematically trained over 300 locals from various professions to become guides proficient in Mandarin, English, and sign language.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This initiative spans over 80 diverse professions, encouraging individuals to step out of their comfort zones and become local guides for world travelers exploring the city.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
