Course design philosophy
In 2020, amidst the COVID-19 global pandemic, we chose to coexist with the epidemic and introduced a training mechanism that best suits future trends. "Personal Trainer on the Go COACH TO GO" post-epidemic era training program.
(Update: In 2023, we added an E-LEARNING authorized course, allowing Taichung locals to learn more deeply and comprehensively.)
TC TIME WALK integrates past teaching experiences, combining personal experiences, surrounding scenery, local characteristics, etc., to provide an experiential learning opportunity. This allows every learner who comes here to learn and apply their knowledge, becoming a unique city guide among your friends.
Cultivating partners from various industries, we not only promote the love for our hometown and the international knowledge of introducing Taichung to people from all over the world, but also enhance our own cultural heritage. Depending on the theme, we delve deeper into the local culture, history, architecture, local life, idle spaces, route planning, cycling tours, English guiding, team leading skills, etc., to gain a deeper understanding of Taichung.

I am Yinghui, a graduate of the 5th cohort of CTG. I am deeply grateful to TC Time Walk for providing the people of Taichung with an opportunity to rediscover our home and to introduce it to the world. The CTG course was the starting point for me to step into the time corridor of Taichung. After participating in the course, I developed a deeper sense of nostalgia and curiosity towards the everyday street architecture. I am now able to talk confidently with friends about the history of Taichung. This diverse city, created by the indigenous Peoples, Han settlers, and Japanese architects, is worthy of our serious exploration to trace its ancient traces.
