Questions
Is this a donation?+
No. It is a purchase from TC Time Walk (a company): you receive a code, vouchers, your name on the wall and updates, plus an e-invoice. It is not tax-deductible.
Will the money really become a community tour?+
Every plan records its places; every tour run and every place used is shown below under “What your support becomes”, and everyone who contributed is emailed afterwards. The guide who leads a community tour is paid as usual.
Who gets the places?+
People who rarely get the chance to walk the old town — older people, people with disabilities, new immigrants and their families, families and children who need a little more support, rural students, people starting again. Training scholarships go to new immigrants, mothers returning to work, and locals 45+ starting again. Associations, community groups, temples and churches, school counsellors and clubs can apply — or you can recommend someone you know.
I live abroad — can I still do this?+
Yes — pay online by card; emails and pages are in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. The City Hunt code lasts a year: use it next time, or give it to a friend in Taiwan.
